This section describes tasks related to orders. This includes for example searching orders, managing order information and return labels as well as downloading order documents.
An invoice is created for an order and sent to the consumer together with the parcel or separately. Intershop Order Management allows you to view and download invoices and mark them as paid.
This section describes important concepts as well as symbols and icons that are relevant for understanding how Intershop Order Management works.
Searching Orders
As an Order Management Tool user (contact center agent, warehouse operator or business
manager), you can search for orders using the quick search box, a simple order search, or an
advanced order search.
Quick Order Search
Using the quick search box, you can always search for orders, either by order number or RMA
number, regardless of the selected Order Management Tool page. Figure 1. Searching orders by order numberFigure 2. Searching orders by RMA numberTo use the quick order search:
Select Orders or RMA in the dropdown list.
This enables the order search in the quick search box.
Specify the order number (when selected Order) or an RMA
number (when selected RMA).
Press ENTER or click the search button.
This produces the search result and immediately opens the matching order in
the detail page, see Order Detail Page Overview. For more
information about the search results page refer to Search Results Overview.
Tip:
The quick search box supports the wildcard characters ? and *.
Simple Order Search
The simple order search is a widget that is available for the Order Management Tool homepage, see User Interface Overview, and the Orders section. Figure 3. Simple order searchTo use the simple order search:
In the simple order search widget, specify your search criteria.
The available criteria include:
Order status groups, which can be pre-selected using the presets Status groups, Technical status, Approval status or Business query

Click Find.
This produces the search result and displays the matching orders in the
result list. For more information about the search results page refer to Search Results Overview.
Tip:
Leaving the search criteria blank returns all orders as search result.
Clicking on an order in the list opens the order detail page, see Order Detail Page Overview for details.
Advanced Order Search
Using the advanced order search, you can specify more search criteria, like product ID,
date, payment method, order number, RMA number, or order addresses. To use the advanced
order search:
In the simple order search widget, see Simple Order Search, click Advanced order search.
This displays the advanced order search.
Specify your search criteria.
Tip: To include order address details in your search, click Order addresses to expand the corresponding fields.

Click Find.

Result List Options
You can customize the order search result list to further refine your search, modify the result
display, or trigger immediate actions.
